Ribbon Headband

This simple DIY is perfect if you have some random headbands lying around that you don't really use or like anymore. Original tutorial from here.

Materials: headband, grosgrain ribbon, glue gun, scissors

Measure ribbon against headband, leaving a little extra ribbon at each end.

After gluing ribbon to headband, fold extra ribbon in and over on itself. Secure with glue.

Ta-da!
Note: It helps if your ribbon is as close to the headband in width as possible. You may also want to iron the ribbon if it’s a little wrinkled.

Sunday Seven

Here's seven things that I've been loving this week:

My friend left it at my house so naturally I’ve been playing it as much as possible…

An early Christmas present: some Lauren Conrad books.

A Warm Vanilla candle from Aromatique.

Some silver Kenneth Cole earrings I “borrowed” from my mom.

My stack of November magazines, which I still haven’t gotten around to reading.

“Thank You” cards from the Hallmark store.

The Piano Guys.
This is a screenshot from their video for “The Hobbit”, but I’ve been watching their videos on YouTube all week and they’re extremely talented. Their video for “What Makes You Beautiful” by One Direction is very cool as well.

Christmas in the Air

Christmas

is my favorite holiday/time of the year, and we always decorate most of the house, but I've never decorated my bedroom. This year, with the help of my friend Victoria, I decided to change that.
This is the result:

An array of festive candles sitting in the center of my dresser.
My lovely mannequin all dolled up.
An adorable Christmas carousel for the corner of my dresser.

The lights along the top of my bed's headboard.
Some Christmas ornaments in the holes of my headboard.
A nativity scene nightlight.
